Fashion through the decades and my blue charleston dress - what is your favorite style decade?
Do you take a favorite style decade? I don't really feel I vest to whatsoever fashion expanse actually. Let's encounter what I like of each decade:
20s: Fun, mysterious and I dear the straight and comfortable dresses and dropped waistlines. I actually article of clothing that mode quite a lot
30s: nothing really stands out for me in this decade.
40s: I do similar some old hollywood glam, and this style is back in way. Focus on the waist and tight courtly skirts. This style is oft too uncomfortable for me, so it can't be my favorite.
50s: wide skirts and rock and ringlet. I wear wide skirts sparingly and when I do I want to mix them up a little!
60s: I beloved the minis and the colors, but I feel that most of the looks are no longer suitable for me. I'm in love with piece of furniture from the 60s though and it can be found throughout my house.
70s: Bohemian and hippy style characterises this area and that'south not really my thing, although I love the wide legged pants.
80s: No I don't call back I want to go back to the shoulder pads, but I do like structured blazers
90s: Grunge, demin and streetstyle narrate that surface area, and although I like my jeans on occasion, I adopt to be a bit dressier.
I like different things from different decades so am not really defined by one. But for this post I went with the twenties! When I desire something comfortable and easy to wear, that is yet fun and fashionable, I oft opt for what I refer to as my charleston apparel. Only because it reminds me of the twenties and I feel like dancing the charleston in it. Not that I really know that dance….
You can jump pretty practiced in this dress besides!
It's a total jersey clothes which I bought in Amsterdam in a local shop there. No thought what the brand is, equally I cut that out. Some of my recurring elements are nowadays in this dress besides, like asymmetry. Here the back is totally different from the front.
What I like about this dress is that it is actually comfy! You lot can move, trip the light fantastic toe, bound, run a marathon in this dress without any issues. Information technology's normally worn with flats similar these ones which I snapped up in a local shop in Tuscany, during my vacation 2 years ago.
The jewelry is playful as well and adds a scrap of colour to the outfit. Both were bought at a market in Shanghai, where jewelry is cheap, cheap, cheap! For more info on the watch see my versatile design watches.
